Vaquero Days 2025
CHC is proud to once again support Vaquero Days in Half Moon Bay, an event core to our mission to protect the equestrian history, culture, and economy on the Coastside.
This year’s event will take place Saturday August 16th in downtown Half Moon Bay (Main Street and Kelly Street) with the horse ride starting at 12:30 PM at 110 Higgins Canyon Road (railroad depot) to the Coastal Trail, Smithfield, on to the beach to Kelly Street to Mainstreet and the main Plaza and back to Higgins. Free music, equestrian demonstrations and activities for kids, with food and beverages and vendor stalls.
Last year, Vaquero Day hosted over 100 horses. This year, the event organizers of Vaquero Days are encouraging all area equestrians to participate in this event so we can build this event even bigger. Wear you best duds and come on down!
