Keep Ranches and Horses in Rancho Corral de Tierra
Help us keep a virbrant equestrian culture, and its economic and social benefits on the San Mateo Coast.
The National Park Service has a plan than will devastate long-standing equestrian public programs and horse-boarding at Rancho Corral de Tierra. If horses and ranches are removed from RCdT our equestrian way of life will not survive on the Coastside.
Equestrians have been integral to RCdT for generations. The Coastside Horse Council is fighting to ensure that no horse owner is forced to give up their horse — or put one down — due to lack of boarding or the exhorbitant cost of boarding at other locations. We want all exitisting multi-user trails to remain and future trails to be accessible to all at RCdT.
Our goal is to get the National Park Service to conduct a fair and transparent planning process—one that gives the entire Coastside community the opportunity to participate in all planning and decisions regarding Rancho’s future, including the future of its equestrian facilities and trails.
